Our Mission
At Mecham's Rat Pack, we strive to be an ethical breeder, and that mission guides every decision we make. Ethical breeding, to us, means prioritizing health, temperament, structure, and breed integrity above all else. It means never cutting corners and always putting the dogs first.
Our Expertise
As an active member of the Rat Terrier Club of America I have earned a Bronze Grand Champion title, multiple Grand Champion titles, and Bred By Champion title. Additionally, I have the the #1 rat terrier dock diving dog for the past 5 seasons and the Best of Breed for Fastcat in 2025. My dogs participate in multiple sports including, agility, barn hunt, scent work, fastcat, dock diving, rally, weight pull, and shed hunting. Our dogs also actively hunt vermin on our 11 acre property.
Our Phillosophy
At Mecham's Rat Pack,
all of our dogs are fully health tested and titled. we believe these steps are essential—not optional—when working to preserve and improve the Rat Terrier breed. Health testing helps ensure we are producing puppies with the best possible chance at long, healthy lives, while titling proves that our dogs meet the breed standard and excel in more than just appearance.
We are incredibly grateful to have outstanding mentors who guide and support us along the way. Their knowledge, honesty, and experience have been invaluable, and we are committed to continuing to learn and grow under their mentorship.
